Taxidermy & processing
We recommend Hiblers Taxidermy & Wild Game Processing (207 S. 5th St., Kingsville, TX 78363). There is a link above; check out their website -
Coolers/ice chests
If we are processing your animal at the ranch, bring ice chests. For a Nilgai bull, plan on two 120‑quart coolers. -
Licenses & ID
Each hunter is responsible for having the correct Texas hunting license, a hunter education card (if required), and a photo ID. -
Medical, dietary, and mobility info
Please let us know before the hunt about any medical conditions, mobility limits, or food allergies so we can plan accordingly. -
Clothing & weather
Wear camo. Bring broken‑in boots, layers for changing weather, rain gear, a hat, and sun protection. -
Ear protection
Bring earplugs or muffs for shooting, and earplugs for sleeping, as shared rooms can be noisy. -
Rifle & optics
Not sure what rifle to bring? You can rent one of ours. If you bring your own, confirm your rifle is zeroed before the hunt. -
Meat & trophy handling
We will help with field care, tagging, and transport to Hiblers. -
Tips/gratuities
Standard tips are $150 per hunter for the cooking and cleaning staff, and 13–20% of the hunt cost for your guide.
