LLHUNT Nilgai Hunting
2026-2027
Thank you for thinking of hunting with us here at Yturria Ranch. We truly appreciate the chance to share this South Texas Nilgai experience with you. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to take a Nilgai bull or cow of your choice, and we encourage you to practice ahead of time, especially shooting from sticks, since any wounded animal is counted as your trophy. For these tough animals, bring enough gun—a .338 Remington Ultra Mag with 225‑grain Accubonds is an excellent option, or any setup with a 200‑grain or heavier bullet at roughly 3,000 fps that delivers strong energy at hunting ranges, in line with what many South Texas Nilgai outfitters recommend. Your hunt will be on about 15,000 acres of low‑fence, free‑range country just north of Raymondville, Texas, off Highway 77, right in the heart of classic Nilgai habitat.
Recommended gratuities: camp cooking staff $150.00; guides 13–20% based on your satisfaction.
If you have any questions, please call or text Lendell Laxton at 361‑550‑6532.
