L&L Hunting Service
About Me
Lendell Laxton
If we have not hunted together let me introduce myself:
My name is Lendell Laxton owner and operator of L&L Hunting Service for
the past Twenty five years. I'm part Native American Indian and Tribal
member of the
Potawatomi Tribe
in Oklahoma but I currently reside in Victoria, TX.
I opened L & L Hunting Service in the early 80's. For the most part,
I have been offering my services to corporate clientele and outfitters.
However, in the past few years I've started offering hunts to the
general public and enjoy this type of arrangement. I pride myself in
operating my business with the well being of the animals in mind. The
ranchers that I have developed relationships with over the years know
that my clients and I understand that we are guest in their house and
that we will handle ourselves in a professional manner.
My relationship with my clients is the reason I enjoy the sport of
hunting. The satisfaction of seeing and feeling the emotions of a
successful hunt is hard to put into words.
I have been involved in hunting, in one way or another, my entire
life. Over the years, I have learned that safety first will result in a
pleasurable hunt for everyone. I have also learned to treat our animals
with respect and to reduce their suffering as much as possible. I will
not stop until a wounded animal is put to rest and I will do my best to
ensure that you find the right animal and help you get it on the ground.
By the way, I do not tolerate unsafe gun behavior. I want to keep my
perfect safety record and will not hesitate to prevent any accidental
discharges. If you have a drink, you don't shoot. If you are unsafe, I
will ask you to leave. This is for your safety, as well as mine and any
one else around. Don't even think about drinking and shooting! After the
guns are put away, having a drink or two is completely permissible.
